Making the Call
- When you call our office, you will speak with our patient services associate. You will be asked about the concerns for which you are seeking help so that we may steer you toward the best help we can offer.
-
Our associate will explain our services, policies, and procedures to you so you’ll know what to expect when you arrive.
- You will be asked for basic demographic and insurance information.
- You will be asked if you have any preferences for the therapist you will see in regards to gender, ethnicity, or type of training.
We can generally schedule initial consultations within seven days or less of your call. Your initial visit to the Psychological Clinic will involve your completion of a self-administered inventory, which will be reviewed and explained to you in your follow up visit. These initial appointments are needed to match you with the most appropriate type of psychotherapy and the best clinician. Appointments are 45 minutes long.
If we determine that another facility would better suit your needs, then we will provide you with the appropriate referral.
