The Institute for Human Adjustment (IHA) has two mental health service clinics:

  • The University Center for the Child and the Family (UCCF), which provides mental health services to children and families
  • The U-M Psychological Clinic, which provides mental health services to adults

Our professional staff and trainees at the graduate and post-graduate level work with children, adults, families, and couples to create treatment plans that will be meaningful and effective for them based on their mental health concerns. We use treatments that have been shown by research to be effective (evidence-based treatment), and have a wide variety of services available to our clients. Our Fees & Insurance pages have details about payment and insurance options for our clients.

We encourage individuals who are concerned for their own or their loved ones' mental health to contact us at the University Center for the Child and the Family or at the U-M Psychological Clinic to start taking advantage of our effective services.
